Our Funding Sources
The Centre is funded mainly from two sources, namely, fees from courses and grants from a diversified group of donors and friends.
The seed money was provided by former students, and the family of Professor Akpan H. Ekpo. At the end of any financial year, 20 percent of any surplus would be credited to the University of Uyo while 80 percent would be used in running the Centre.
